New turnstiles at Universal and IoA

I didn't see any self scan turnstiles, each one had a park employee. There must still be some problems that are being worked out.

The Electronic ticket kiosks were being upgraded at studios, but still up and running at islands. So beware there was a separate line that was pretty long.

For those interested, this is the new turnstile Universal is using. When you scan the AP, it says "Thank you (first name)" at IOA and "Thank you (first and last name)" at the studios.

I like Metro West. He takes photos of everything!

Imagine his vacation photo album...

"Here is a picture of the strollers. Now here's a picture of the scanners they used to scan our tickets at the turnsiles. Now here's a photo of a restroom we used..."

No really, I do respect Metro West for taking the time out to take the photos.

We were there this past weekend and all booths were manned. It was taking a very long time to get through the turnstiles. Although the machines worked okay, it was difficult to see the red line on the passes and it took a few tries, thus making it SLOW!!!
