I just got a Tupperware/MyPoints email for 800 points!

It says: "It all adds up to sensational savings!"

Good until 03/31/03.

I'm off to place an order....

Got the Blue box for points, and it said the offer is available once every 7 days! Hmmmm....maybe I can get another 800 points before the offer ends on the 31st.

I'm repling to this post because last week I posted a message about the Tupperware e-mail. I ordered from the e-mail last week and received the 800 points. This was last Tuesday. Last night I ordered again from the same e-mail (which I have saved) and I was awarded another 800 points. I thought this was great, and that all of you should be made aware of this.:D

Okay, can I ask the stupid question of the year?? What are My Points? Is it through a credit card? I have seen this mentioned before but now it is bugging me and I have to know.

MyPoints.com is a rewards program. You get pointsfor reading emails, taking advantage of offers and sign ups, and mostly, for online shopping.

They offer a number of rewards that can be used either at WDW or for WDW vacations, including restaurant GCs (like Rainforest Café) and Webcertificates.

Texan,

The reason everyone looks out for the Tupperware offers, is that they have multiple offers on the MyPoints site and in emails, each worth 800 points. You can do all of the offers, usually monthly, but sometimes whenever they change the "banner" on the site. The "average" MyPoints redemption works out to be about 140 points per dollar ($25 Webcertificate for 3500 points). Some are closer to 110 points/$; some are closer to 150 points/$. So the Tupperware offer is worth about $5.70 in redemptions. If you can find something to order for less than that amount, you're actually coming out ahead. Lots of people (myself included) order e-certificates from Tupperware to use on future purchases.

About MyPoints, you can also get points for referring friends and family members, besides the other offers mentioned above. I got points when my mother and brother signed up. I get most of my points shopping through the site and special email offers. I cashed out last spring/summer for $50 in Barnes and Noble giftcards. I cashed out in December for a $25 Rainforest gift certificate, that we used at WDW in January. And just last week I cashed out for $75 in Webcertificates. Still waiting for those to arrive. A few more Tupperware offers and I'll have enough for another $25. Webcertificates are like an "online" Mastercard debit card and can be used for purchases anywhere MC is accepted. You can also pay $6.95 for a "real" plastic card from Webcertificates that you can use at "Bricks and Mortar" stores. Some people have had luck printing out their email with the Webbie info and taking it to their local Disney Store and having them punch in the number. I plan to just get the card. And then go to my Disney Store and purchase Disney Dollars for my next trip.

Is that more information than you ever wanted to know?

HTH!

I knew I could get my info here and more!! Thanks ya'll! I am definitely going to check this out. I can go to bed now without wondering what the heck this is about. LOL

I got this one and can't decide what to buy, probably will go for a ??? box.:bounce:

Attention Mickey Lovers! Found this and thought it was cute, but can't imagine my 9 & 14 yo boys using it.

I have a question for those of you who received this and placed an order. Were the 800 points in your account this morning? I placed an order and got the blue pop-up that said I received the points, but when I looked this morning they aren't there.

Yup!

I ordered last night, clicked on the blue MyPoints box and the 800 points were in my account this a.m.

Just checked again and now they're there! :Pinkbounc Another easy 800 points!!

WDWINJUNE: The same thing happened to me. They weren't there this morning, and now they are!

Letsbgoofy: Geismeat said in an earlier message up this thread that they had ordered from an email last week and ordered from the same email this week and got points both times! Guess you know what I'll be doing 6 days from now....

I hope I get that e-mail!

It's also posted on the MyPoints website -- you don't need to get the actual e-mail.

Okay guys, especially Eilonwy, due to your persuasion (ha, ha), I have signed up at MyPoints. Can any of ya'll let me know which sites or what is best to use the points towards that you can use for WDW or WDW dining. Any suggestions/tips, etc are greatly appreciated. Thanks for the info!
