Saw this thread this morning and then spent the better (or worse) part of the afternoon on the BB reading "that" thread.

OP, you'll be fine. Last year I went for a whole week without DH and did just fine. I missed him, but I was not lonely or sad a single moment. (Please don't tell DH that though.)

Olivia please don't make me tell you. You're just too pure. I'd never be able to look you in the eye again lol. All I can say is the woman Maificentgoons is a mean person who chose the right screen name.

I will be there for 9 days!!!! BUT!!!! My GF will not be there until the last 3 days. I will be there for work, and my company is paying for the trip including gas instead of putting me in a hotel!!! So i have 6 days to spend by myself. I wouldn't think i would be lonely and bored but what should i do by myself???

I will be there Sept. 12-20.

Been off the boards for a few days (camping in Maine) and just got caught up on this post - what I think the most of us are missing is the key part - he will miss his GF. Not spouse! JK. Or maybe I'm right???

I did find it humorous that all the posters who were married would love a few days alone!

I'm sure her kids are fine and there's nothing for you to be concerned about. Just because she's trying to come up w/extra cash for a camping trip doesn't mean that her kids are suffering. What part of raising 6 kids doesn't sound like work to you?

I don't know what circumstances caused you to be a single parent, but it sure as heck doesn't give you the right to stalk and bash someone else. If someone elses life, which you don't have the full scoop on, causes you to be so upset that you're shaking....then pleasseee turn off your computer and get some sleep.


I really don't get why someone sending her a few bucks and a CM ticket, that probably didn't cost them anything anyway should get under your skin so bad.

There's no reason for it to be of any concern to you whatsoever.

Kim, I see that I have been away from the camping board for too long...how in the world did you get the piggy in your siggy? Did you steal it? Now, I know we were both competing for one, but I never did get one. I think I'm about to go round up a few of them and post them in my siggy.. Hope you don't mind cause the first one I'm making off with is yours
