New to W.I.S.H. Anyone doing 30 day shred

I did day 6 today - still on level 1. That cardio really wipes me out! I hope to do 5 more days of it before I go on vacation for 12 days. When I return, I hope to get through the rest of the 30 days before I go to WDW on June 24th.
 
Hello fellow Shredders! I have just done day 3 of level 3. I am not sure where that six pack is hiding that she keeps talking about, but i certainly feel a lot fitter (is 'fitter' a word, or do I mean 'more fit')! I like my arms, I think they are looking better (I used to really hate my arms before i started regularly working out last year) I have already planned that when i am done this i am going to do the Results Fitness 10 Days to a Better Body. Yahoo.:banana: Hooray for all us shredders!
 
so about half way through this post I went and added it to our netflix que, it is being sent out mon, which means i will have it tues :banana::cheer2:. Im anxious to see what this is all about and if it works.
 
I finished 30 days straight of the 30 day shred today!:banana: I ended up losing 5.5lbs. But I lost 2 inches in my waist, 2 inches in hips, and .5 an inch in my thighs and arms. Plus my arms look leaner/more toned. I also dropped a size in pants. I'm extremely happy with the results.

I plan on doing another 30 days straight but alternating levels instead of focusing on doing each level 10 days. I was also still doing my cardio (4 mile walks) and following WW online.

Yes doing it for 30 days in a row is very impressive! I also have a hard time doing it everyday due to boredom and my knees also get sore from some of the jumping exercises. I've been doing the Biggest Loser Weight Loss Yoga between by Shred days and I find that it works well for me. I am on level 3 and will continue doing it even past 30 days and I definitely feel like I've gotten stronger, but I don't think I"ve lost pounds. I don't really weigh myself often and I should have done my measurements before starting but I didn't, so I don't know if I've lost inches but I feel like I have. I also don't follow a strict diet plan like I should...

Wow! I am so impressed! :thumbsup2 It just goes to show that there are other ways of measuring success besides the number on the scale . . .

It sounds like what you are doing is working for you. And you don't want to get injured before your WDW trip! Have a good time!

Sorry I haven't been on lately to comment. I had to stop doing the Shred every day because I was experiencing a great deal of knee pain. I haven't done the Shred since Friday morning (I think) and my knees finally feel normal. (Of course, it didn't help that I tried to run on the beach on Saturday morning and I pulled some sort of muscle in the back of my thigh... maybe my quad??)

I bought a few other exercise DVDs to try and change things up. I bought the BL Cardiomax, but that has lots of squats and lunges too, so I am trying to modify them when I do that DVD. I also bought the DWTS Latin cardio dance. It is boring, but at least it doesn't hurt my knees!

Glad to see so many people keeping up with this!..................P

DOes anyone know how long each level takes to complete...per workout?

I hope that question makes sense. If I do level 1 day 1 today how long would it take to complete?

Kim, I believe that each workout is 20 minutes long. There is a short warm up and cool down also. It's about 30 minutes all together by the time I fiddle with the DVD, etc. I've only done level 1 but figure that level 2 and 3 are the same.

Good luck! It is a good workout but it is tough, too.
 
Zip-a-de-do-da-DONE!
Yesterday i did my last day of L3 - so that was 32 days.....but close enough for me! I did not end up losing any more weight, but i sure feel great and i am wearing a pair of jeans right now that did not fit previously......yay! So today I am starting the Results 10 Days to a Better Body, and then I might try ChaLean Extreme.......
Keep at it Shredders, it can be done! :cool1:
