New to US -- Help please :)

Hi!

My hubby and I will be traveling to Orlando March 4-8 for our Anniversary (it will be just the 2 of us on this trip). I'm a Disney nut and have never been to US or IOA. On this trip we are planning on going to US, IOA and doing a swim with the Manatees tour. Since we've never been to either of these places I need all the help and advice I can get

Do you think this time period will be crowded??? We were planning on staying off-site but if it's going to be crowded I guess I would consider staying on-site for the FOTL advantage but I hate to spend that kind of money if it's going to be lite to average crowds.

I've already purchased my tickets but that's about it....

Any advice on restaurants???

I just need all the advice I can get at this point

Well...first off...WELCOME to the Dark Side

Now...the parks close at 7pm on those days so I doubt it will be very busy...especially during the week. The Saturday you're there, Smokey Robinson will be at the Studios for Mardi Gras that night and the Studios will start getting really busy in the afternoon. If you have the $$$, stay onsite and not worry about the lines but I think you'd be fine if you didn't.
