I have to say, I have been reading the Dis Boards for over a year and finally could not resist. I have been camping at the Fort since 2006 and fell MADLY
in love with it since. I frequent the Fort at least 4 times a year, loop 800 for most part. I have so many majic memories of the Fort. This is where my kids had thier first camfire, first bike ride, first golf cart ride, first looping ride, and the list goes on. A great place for the family and a great Dis Boards Community to share information.
I want to thank everyone from Tri-circle-D, des1954, stacktester, DaveInTN, Shan-man, Born 2 Fish, ftwildernessguy, Dis Camper, and the rest of the gang. You all have been so helpful and full of great information.
On a diffrent note, this will be the first Halloween (Oct 29th-Nov-2) that I will be at the Fort, from what I have heard on Dis Boards and recently read in Trailer Life it is LOTS of fun for the kids and the adults as well.
I am sure their are lots of people going to be at the Fort that weekend, my questions are:
1.Do we expect many outsiders/non-guests in the Fort this year, especially after they have moved the gate post?
2.Are the park crowds heavy during this time?
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
