Please let me know where I can shop for scrapbooking supplies in Disney World. I have seen those scissors that ar mickey heads and I'm sure there's lots of other neat stuff too. Is there a big scrapbooking store there?? The last time we visited Disney I had not started to scrapbook, so now I need an idea where to start shopping!!!!!Thanks

IMHO the scrapbook store is DTD is not all that its cracked up to me. Very disapointed in it. I can do better at my LSS or even eBay for PP. I've heard there are a couple of cute items but for the most part not worth the visit if your pressed for time. They have a couple of LSS in Orlando if you have the time to visit. If you look in the make of any of the scrapbook magazines they will have the addresses and phone #'s.

Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Anything that Disney carries in the Wonderful World of Memories can be found in the Park gift stores and also at your resort gift stores. It isn't worth making a special trip to the scrapbooking store at DTD. The scissors if they are in stock can be found in these stores too.

I am not real impressed with this store. I have seen cuter Disney items elsewhere. The paper comes in packets so you have no flexibility.

I didn't think the DtD store was that great either. My resort gift shop had just about everything I wanted (Contemporary Resort) and I also liked the Writer's Shop at MGM Studios- they had a nice selection and I esp liked it cause they had some stickers I didn't see anywhere else.

I agree with the previous posters as well...the shop at Wilderness lodge had every single thing that was at the scrapbook store located at Downtown Disney. And also almost every other shop throughout the parks has it as well...not to say that I wasn't excited to be browsing around the store, but I was hoping to see more scrap merchandise! I do have to say, that Downtown Disney was great...we were totally into the shopping thing while on vacation and went back twice!!!

I got the 12x12 post bound album and was surprised to see that it came with a lot of paper in the album as well as the page protectors. I also got a "2003" scrap kit that includes printed paper, frames, stickers and adhesive die cuts. I'm not actually a pre-made scrapper...but I wanted the kit since we were there.

The "scrapbook" store is basically really a "bookstore".

I also bought a pre-made kit of Princess scrapping stuff while at WDW. Although the stuff was cute, looking back I truly feel that using it limited my pages. The pages I used that stuff on were my least favorite in the whole book. I actually ended up redoing a LO because I was so dissatisfied with it.

If you can get some Disney themed scrapbook pages, those are really nice. But all the stickers and frames were not so good for me personally.

I didn't buy any of the prepackaged scrapping stuff, cause I don't really like the frames either. I mostly bought stickers, which could be found in a lot of the shops. If you have a CM consultant, I think they have some GREAT Mickey, Pooh and then a multi pack of Disney character stickers. The multi pack comes with papers that are pre-cut into strips/triangles/squares, and the stickers include Alice, Peter Pan & Tink, Buzz & Woody, Jungle Book, Pinocchio, Princesses, and Mickey & friends. I have also seen some nice Little Mermaid & Cinderella stickers at my local scrapbook store that I might pick up for our next trip.
