Visiting IOA for the first time in a few weeks. Do they let you get in line for the rides right up until closing time? In other words, if park closes at 10p, can I get in a line at 10? Thanks,

Yes...if you're in line before the park closes, you can ride.

Hello,

I was at Universal (both parks) last Tuesday and Thursday by myself. This principle of "be in line by 10 PM" also applies to the Harry Potter Forbidden Journey ride. I have heard that they keep the ride running each night until around 11:30 PM to accomodate everyone who entered the line by 10 PM. I do not know about the show at Olivander's, but perhaps they have the same policy. Incidentally, I have been wondering if the kids' bedtimes are being messed up by staying out so late, but I assume that they do not mind.

Bedtimes? What are those when you are on vacation :) I think our times were so messed up, we were at WWOHP one night at 10pm and that was the best time to get into the shops we found out. I did see that they would not let anyone else in line after 10pm but they did not kick anyone out.

While waiting to eat we asked if they stopped letting people into the 3 broomsticks at a certain time and they said they close at 10pm so if you are in line at 10pm then you stay until you eat.
