Hi All,

New to these boards, but not to Disney. Still, I know things change there all the time so I've got a few questions. Usually I spend months planning, organizing and making ADR's, but I just made last minute reservations and leave in less than 2 weeks. Going with DS2 (15 years). Woo hoo!:cool1:

So, need some quick dining updates/reviews as we are crunched for time. We love good food - not picky at all about different types of food (adventurous and love it all), but we are picky about quality. I especially like to make sure to sit down to a nice meal at dinner. I prefer to experience things that are hard to replicate at home (so, for example, don't tend to pick Chinese or Mexican or even Italian although I made an exception this trip so far).

Staying at CRS - get in late on a Thursday night so will grab something at the airport or resort.

Friday night going to La Nouba at 6 pm - have made ADR for Portobello at DTD - good choice or better suggestion?

Saturday night - this is where I need the most help.... What are some of the current best choices at World Showcase? Le Cellier is booked. I made an ADR for Rose and Crown as we've never been there. I always like Marrakesh and could switch to that if better. Anything better than those (I don't love C de F and we were there last time anyway)?

Sunday night - wanted California Grill as never been, but no luck. Have ADR at The Wave - good choice? Love Citrico's, but wanted something different. Would Narcoosee's be better than The Wave or stick with what we've got?

Sorry this is a bit rambling, but I truly appreciate any input as research time is short. :)

Have a great trip. We really like the Rose & Crown. Loved the pork loin, chicken and the sticky toffee pudding. If you want to exit through International Gateway, you could try the Flying Fish at the Boardwalk or Cape May at the Beach Club.

We had to switch a few reservations around recently for a March trip and didn't have too many problems. They have changed the park hours so many times, I feel like our original ADR's have all been changed.

Hi All,

Portobello has always been good...if you haven't been to Raglan Road yet..that is wonderful as well.

Yes, Marrakesh is better than Le Cellier...why not head up to Le Bistro

Stick with the Wave...we have been a couple of times...very enjoyable.

You could always head over to Flying Fish at Boardwalk on your EPCOT day. There is also IL Mulino at the Swan and Blue Zoo at the Dolphin...all three outstanding for people who enjoy really good food.

Thanks - this is really helpful. It feels like I am on the "right page." Will stick with Portobello (although Raglan's was the other I considered so glad to know that is good as well - always need to be thinking ahead for next time!) and The Wave.

As for EPCOT night..... So, I love Flying Fish, but we've been there a number of times - it is one of my fave WDW restaurants (like Cape May, too, just not as much as FF). I really like the look of Blue Zoo, but not sure I want to take the time away to go over there this time. In general, our favorite area to stay is the EPCOT area (Boardwalk and Beach Club) because of the access to so much dining.

Assuming I want to stay in World Showcase, I think it sounds like Rose and Crown is a fine choice. I always like to try something new and it sounds good. Le Bistro seems as if it worth a try as well - I know hubby would like it so I'll wait for his next trip. So many decisions... but, I am not gonna drive myself crazy, just want to make sure we have some nice dinners set up.

Thanks again! Happy Dining!
