If you are in a studio, its a bed and a murphy bed over a couch. The murphy beds are more comfortable than the former sofa beds, but it still isn't the set up you are likely familiar with from a hotel room. You will have a kitchenette (in a one bedroom or larger, you get a kitchen). Check in time is technically "after 4:00" We've always gotten into our room long before 4:00, but sometimes its late, and rarely later than 4 - plan on having something to do with your day that doesn't involve going to your room. Checkout time is 11:00 and they are pretty strict about it - the 11:00 check out time is part of the reason for late check in - DVC tends to operate at full occupancy (or close to it) so if they get a lot of people hanging in their rooms until late, getting them all turned around is a challenge.
