I'm sure you hear this all the time - I'm a WDW vet traveling to DL for the first time this June. I made a PS for Blue Bayou today... I'm use to calling WDW as soon as it opens to ensure I get what I want. Well, I had class this morning, so I just called now, and not only did I get in, I got right away at 11:30!!! And then the odd part..... I wasn't given a confirmation number! :scared1: (i like having that "official" number - I feel like everything is set and secure!) She just said it would be under my name. Am I needlessly freaking out?

Can anyone recommend a tasty counter service for dinner and a snack that shouldn't be missed?
Thanks!!! :flower3:

Bengal BBQ is yummy and different. I get a veg skewer and a beef skewer to make a meal. We also just have a waffle cone for a meal sometimes.

Making PS's at DLR is NOTHING like making ressies at WDW. When we went to WDW for our anniversary last October, I was on the phone 5x a day trying to get openings into the restaurants we wanted to eat at. INSANITY! That is the world you are used to, so DLR is going to be a breath of fresh air for you in that regard. BB is the toughest PS to get, you have it. If you want to eat anywhere else, you probably don't need a PS, but you could certainly make one for peace of mind - since you are so used to it. :)

No confirmation numbers, as stated above.

Hope you love DL as much as we do,
Dreams

I am in the same boat. Veteran WDW guest and new to DL. It feels weird to not have a confirmation number!

We're going to:
1. BB for lunch on Father's Day (June 21st...my Birthday too! princess:)
2. Ariel's for lunch on June 22nd
3. Goofy's Kitchen for Dinner on June 23rd.

I think we'll wing it for the last 2 days. We might go to Universal one day.

Heya,

Bengal BBQ is my favorite counter service in Disneyland. The whole family likes it actually, even my wife who doesn't love the chicken like the rest of us. She gets the asparagus and loves it.

I am also a WDW vet and found it strange I was not given any confirmation number when I made PS for Goofy's Kitchen. All the guy for was my name, date, and time, and said I was "all set". I called back just to make sure it was notated, but am still kinda worried. But from what everyone is saying I should be fine!

No need to be worried. If they have your name at the right time and date, you are good to go. :)
