New to disboards and need some opinions

Hey there everyone. I'm going to Disney World for the first time in 20 years which should I go on Big Thunder or Splash Mountain? Also where is the best place to buy pins there? Any advice?

both? They're both fun. To understand SM I suggest looking at the Complete Guide to Disney World. It has an outline of the story with some of the dialogue which can be difficult to hear.

Pins are everywhere. Some shops will have pins that others do not. For example you can find more Epcot related pins in Epcot stores. There is a pin store in Downtown Disney that has a wide selection also.

I agree with PP go on both rides. As for pin there are many shops to choose from. There is one in Frontierland that has a lot to choose from. I check all the places that I visit that sell pins. You will find different ones at different locations.

1) BOTH! why would you only go on one? there both incredible rides! even if its like a problem where you have a little kid so one parent will go on one and the other parent willl go on the other you can do a baby swap. basically there is no reason why you would only do one. if your asking which one to get a fastpass for i would say splash mountain and do thunder mountain early in the day or late at night and your all set.

2) downtown disney. world of disney has a whole room of pins and there are a bunch of pin shops in dtd. basically even the hotels will have pins though so dont worry about there being a pin shortage or anything!
