New to DCL

We have booked our first cruise for January 2017 and I'm confused about a couple of things. Is there an app or website for DCL like My Disney Experience? Will we get a Magic Band or something similiar? Anything else we should know? Thank you

Disneycruise.disney.go.com ... You can link your reservation there. When you'll get to your check-in date, more options will be added to your "My Reservation", you will then be able to book adults only restaurants and excursions. It will remind you a bit of My Disney Experience.

For now, they are using Key To The World cards. You can bring a lanyard on your vacation, it will be useful.

You can add money in your account or drinks and gifts for your cruise. There will be forms you can fax prior to your cruise to order them.

There is a Disney Cruise Line app you can download that has a countdown calendar, and once onboard the ship you will have access to the ship maps and a digital version of the Navigator available (though I have heard reports from other websites that the digital version is someone incorrect and to refer to the daily printed version for the most accurate schedules - not sure if those details have been worked out to prevent misinformation or not). It's been a few years since I've been on DCL, so my next cruise (also in Jan '17) will be the first opportunity for me to test this app out in full, but I am currently using it for the countdown clock.
