New to Couponing - Help!

I didn't think any stores allowed stacking of manufacturers coupons or stacking of store coupons. But look at example below from Target.

Puffs Facial Tissue, 6, 8 or 10 pk $8.99
Use 2 $0.25/1 Puffs Singles OR (1) 3 pk or larger from P&G 9/30 (exp. 10/31/12)
And 2 $0.50/1 Puffs Facial Tissue, 3 ct or larger, excludes trial size - Target Coupon from RP 10/28

You can use both a Target coupon and a manufacturer's coupon on the same item. Those would be considered "stackable" - one manufacturer's coupon + one store coupon for use on one item. You can even use 2 manufacturer's coupons on 2 items as long as the coupon does not exclude that activity.

The sticky part of that scenerio would be using 2 same Target coupons in a single transaction even if you have purchased 2 items. The Target stores in my area won't allow it. Without that, you end up paying an additional 25 cents each.

As the previous poster stated, that scenario is not using 2 manufacturer's coupons, it is using 1 manufacturer's coupon plus 1 Target coupon per item. Target coupons are separate and can be stacked with manufacturer's coupons.

You would also be purchasing two items. Totally allowed for most manufacturer's coupons to use 2 coupons for 2 items. Not always possible to use 2 Target coupons for 2 items.

Thank you! I didn't realize all of this was so confusing! . I did we'll today at CVS and earned my extra bucks! I'm going to give all of this a go. This takes a lot of research and organization!

you really have to watch them at target when you use coupons...i always get the computer telling the cashier that i didnt buy that item and i have to have them look it up, target coupons dont seem as automatic as some other stores. I love cvs deals, good luck couponing! make sure to sign up for mobile target coupons and print them from their site they do have some good ones!

One more question! I know that Walmart will honor a competitor's price. So lets say "x" is on sale at Krogers for $1.99. Then I also have a manufacturers coupon for $.50 off. Will Walmart honor the price AND let me apply the coupon? I primarily shop at Walmart since I live in a small town. My only other choice is Brookshires so any Walmart advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, they will price match and then you can apply your manuf. coupon.
