With the new tickets can we go to a park in the morning and then go back to the room at nap time and then return to the same park later that day? Or is it 1 park, 1 entry per day without a hopper pass?

I believe so. You just can't hop over to another park unless you add on the hopping feature. :flower:

::yes::
I think you can do that. But to go to a different park later that same day, you have to have a park hopper on your ticket.

If you do not purchase the hopping option, you are allowed to go in and out of the park you start in as often as you want during the day. If you start your day at MK and decide to leave at noon and come back at 4pm, then leave again at 6pm and come back at 7pm, that's fine. (Inefficient, but fine. :) ) What you can not do is start your day at MK, leave at noon, and go to Epcot in the afternoon. For that, you need the hopping option.

I had a friend tell me that if she does NOT get the hopping option, but "hops" anyway - MK in AM , MGM in PM that they will just take another day off her ticket and there won't be a problem. For some reason she thinks this is cheaper. - She will buy a seven day non hopper and use it as a four day hopper. Is this really OK with Disney - I can't argue with her- she is a nursery worker at our church.

I read on another post that this can not be done. You will only be able to use one park per day if you do not have hopping. I would'nt argue with her either but maybe just advise her to double check that before leaving home. You know Disney would have figured out every case senerio.

Unfortunately this is incorrect information. If you try to go to a 2nd park in the afternoon, the ticket reader will scan the ticket and it will come up used/ not valid for admission. You would have to buy a one day ticket to get into that park or go to Guest Relations and have the hopper option added before going in. Sorry!:(

ThNK YOU - THt ia whT i THOUGHT. sHE SAID SHE ASKED A cm AND THEY SAID SHE COULD. I will tell her I checked here and maybe she'll believe me or at least call back and check.

Unfortunately, a CM is not always the best source of information. Others are right, this cannot be done.

Park Hopper passes are definately the way to go. They are not new to Disney, it is just presented in a different way.

Just got back from our vacation and we actually witnessed them turning away people who tried to do what your friend is suggesting to do. Unless there is a glitch somewhere, it will not work.
