The ticket is exactly the same MYW ticket as Disney sells at their ticket booths. To increase Disney's range of potential ticket purchasers, Disney wholesales a quantity of MYW tickets to third party resellers, and those third parties market the tickets on their own, with their own mark-up. Undercover Tourist is where most people find the best discount price on Disney MYW tickets, and they have top-rated service. I bought mine just 2 weeks ago from UCT when they announced Disney's imminent price increase.I have never ordered tickets form UC but I am considering ordering them today because of the price change. Is the ticket basically the same as the ticket you purchase from WDW? Also, if I decided to upgrade that ticket to a waterpark or park hopper once I arrive at WDW, would I have any problems? Thanks for any info.
Since your UCT ticket is priced at a discount, you can keep that discount IF you use your ticket first to enter a theme park before doing your upgrade. Actually using your ticket elevates its worth to Disney's current gate price value, so you are only paying for the upgrade. If you were to upgrade before using your ticket, you'd owe for the upgrade and the discount you received.
