New ticket pricing basics

Thanks for the info Dan. We are due to leave tomorrow and plan on upgrading our tickets to annual passes. With the price increase will our magic your way trade ins be credited at the new price or the old?

Assuming you did not buy your tickets directly from Disney, and you price bridge, they will be credited at whatever rate is in effect at the time of your upgrade.

If I buy non-expiring tickets from UT today, will I be able to price bridge those tickets if that option no longer exists after today? What would they use for the updated price once i activate them by entering a park?

Yes, there's been no change to price-bridging policy. Good question about what your non-expiry option is worth in the future. I would say it remains to be seen if Disney will publish a statement about how this situation will be handled.

anyone know if i renew my monthly payment for annual passes 60 days early will it just charge me the usual amount every month and just continue on or will get charged double the next two months?

Lets talk about the fact there no longer seems to be a DVC AP.................Unless they are holding that info back, of course. Because, WDW wouldn't REALLY want to peeve off their precious DVC members now, would they?

I had no idea that waterparks were so expensive. Our New Braunfels Schlitterbahn is just $33. :headache:

Why not -- they've already got their money...

Thanks Dan, for this information. The ticket that I almost always get for my solo vacation is the 7 day, WITH the park hopper option. How much money do you think I will save if I buy my ticket NOW?

I'm hoping they still have the cheaper tickets for a bit! And, in my experience, they usually do, for like a week or so.

The DVC member website confirms this morning that members still get the same price as Florida Residents for AP's and PAP's.

I have never ordered tickets form UC but I am considering ordering them today because of the price change. Is the ticket basically the same as the ticket you purchase from WDW? Also, if I decided to upgrade that ticket to a waterpark or park hopper once I arrive at WDW, would I have any problems? Thanks for any info.
