I know the Tag readers have been discussed on here quite a bit, and I am looking to get one for my DD 4th birthday at the end of the month.

I know a couple people have recommended the school tag reader because it held so many more books. But now with the new tag system (green) now holding 10 books is it worth the extra $20 - 30 to purchase the school tag (orange) that holds 20 books?

Also on a side note does anyone have any recommendations of fun games I can get her to play on the computer?

Thanks!

My niece has the original and it has the full 10 books. We haven't needed more. And if we do, it's so easy to take a book off and add another. I guess it depends how often your little one goes through books .. do you think they will read 11+ books in one sitting? There is so much to do on each book I find she can be entertained by ONE book for quite some time!

Personally I wouldn't spend the extra $.. tho I"m sure many here will disagree.

Good to know. I was reading about the one that had only the 5 books and could see where that might be a problem, but 10 books seemed pretty good to me except when we go on vacation, but that is only a couple times per year! Also thanks for letting me know it is easy to take a book off and add another one!

Oh and I did find some Tag books today on clearance at Kmart only $5.60 each.

We have the one that only holds 5, and so far it has not been a problem. We recently added a second one for our youngest son and loaded some different books on that one.

But, even before that, there is so much in each book that they would play with one book for the longest time. I love that thing!! I want to know how it works! :) BTW, our boys are 5 & 3, so that may have something to do with the attention span. Don't know if that helps.

Just FYI... The orange school Tag holds 25 books (not 20). I also LOVE the headphones it comes with. In fact, I just ordered another pair for my daughter to wear with her Disney Mix Stick while I was ordering the new Tinker Bell book (free shipping if you buy that book for $11.19 on sale) with the code FSA9TS.

Thankd for the info! I found another book at Target today for only $3.48, so got it for only 0.48 after I used my coupon....now I just have to actually buy her the tag reader!
