new sw dates are up gett'm while they are hot!!

Talked to my girlfriend last night, she will wait and hope for a ding. Lets hope this happens, they don't want to pay $500. to fly up here for a short visit!

This will be my first time with AirTran. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Maxwell, we were also waiting for the extended fares on SW out of PVD and were so disappointed that right after they were released we booked JETBLUE out of Boston for $158 rt non stops. It will also be our first time using JETBLUE, but we are excited that we'll finally be flying to WDW on a Magical Express participating airline, so we won't be lugging our bags through the airport on the way home.

I believe AirTran is also participating now so it'll work out well for you also.

I'm going to hold out for a few more weeks. I really don't want to go up to Boston (would take the bus which is $40 roundtrip). With Airtran at $99 one way plus bus of $20 total of $120, savings of almost $40 a person. Not sure if saving $80 is worth an extra hour ride to Boston and having to work around a bus schedule. This trip keeps getting more expensive. First, no free dining for us and now flights are outrageous. The only bright light is that I'm going to Disney for my birthday

Am I glad I changed my dates when the August flights were released in February. I originally planned to go 8/11-8/25 but when the dates were released to 8/24 and the flights were $69/each way MHT to MCO I decided to change to 8/10-8/24 and booked it. Since I still have the house until 8/25 I thought I might stay the extra day. I checked and the flights are $158/each way! Not a deal for me.

You are so lucky! I am also traveling from MHT to MCO and we are booked for 9/22 to 9/29- The prices made me want to cry and now I am looking around. I found good ones from Delta, but that comes with 1 stop. I have 3 kids so I was hoping for direct. I am not too sure what to do...... Sept is a slow time to travel so I am very surprise at SW rates.....

Maybe we'll get lucky and someone from SW will see our comments, and that people are jumping to other airlines with cheaper fares and drop their rates.

Nottelling - Check JetBlue and Air Tran out of Boston. I live in Nashua and we travel to Florida frequently (we cruise a lot). Many times its been much less expensive to fly out of Boston. Last time I did it I got r/t air to Tampa for $136/pp. Cheapest from MHT was almost $200/pp more - and it never went down. Since there are 6 of us I just rented a roundtrip limo for door to door service. Even with renting the limo I saved almost $1000.

Darcy03231- Thanx for the advise. I did check them and nothing great right now. I live in Raymond, so commuting to Boston for a great deal is not bad. I do not leave till Sept. So I think for now I am going to wait and see what airlines do what for $$......... Do you know any great places to get good prices on cruises??? I would love to bring the crew on a cruise!
