wow, i have not been on that ride in over 5 years, my dd is too small. So looks like I can wait for the upgrades. Awesome news!

I personally don't care if the ride has pod racing in it. I am looking forward to the change. I just like the idea of something new in the Star Wars universe being added to the parks.

Meh, wasn't to impressed with the preview I saw but still have high hopes for this, considering the clip was only about 30 seconds long. Im hoping ALL of the movies do play into the ride, as much as I can see the need for using the more recent 3 I think it would be a huge mistake to leave out the others all together.

Anyways, im still plannin on being there opening weekend

I find the original is feeling very "dated" now, so I'm pleased to see an upgrade at last. I rode the original for the first time back in 97, so to finally see it updated is nice.

I'm really hope they clone it over to Paris as well though - the ride there is the same (apart from the language) so hopefully they'll translate the dialog and ship it across the atlantic to Paris - please
