New SSR Murphy beds being scrutinized?

I may be misunderstanding the tone of this comment, and you may want to re-phrase your comment in the light of any misunderstood element, but your remark suggests to me that you are calling SSR owners "bottom feeders". That would be beyond rude.
IF we are bottom feeders then I feel we have one up and all the rest.. I mean it costs me a lot less to stay at VGC or BCV than those who hold those contracts.. and right now I’m sitting 2/2.

Just checked in to our renovated studio and the Murphy wall beds have stickers saying not to use them. Hearing stories of inflatable mattresses and mattresses on the floor taking up the living space isn’t an acceptable solution and have no idea what kind of solution to ask for.
What? Still an issue at SSR 6 days after the initial reports?? We checked in to RIV 2 days ago and to my knowledge no one has had an issue with any of the pull down beds, or been told not to sleep on them. I was chatting with a couple in a tower studio last night and their issue was that there are only 2 pillows in the studio for the Murphy bed.

Yup. Can confirm and even took a picture of the sticker today. Was not offered to put mattress down or air mattress, just to move to unrenovated room.

Things happen. I get it. And I am more than fair.

But that is insane to me, the decision on how to deal with this issue. To arrive on vacation, get a room. Walk into the room and find that half the sleeping possibilities are not available. And not have an alternate solution for sleeping . Yes you can change rooms (can't be more than a few rooms with that possibility at this time of year. Honestly I am surprised that they aren't at 100% occupancy)

I am assuming you did online check-in, yes? So you walked into this situation blind? Or there was some kind of alert?

I just got back from SSR and had exemplary service (standard room). But this was not taken care of properly at all.
They can't possibly have a room switch available for all of these renovated room reservations.

Welcome your guests and immediately give them a substantial incentive to stay put. Not that difficult. And that incentive would not be $200 in my eyes, not even close. And air mattresses are simply a given to get set up, they do not - and should not - factor in to any compensation conversation at all.

I don't know if you were around for the early SSR conversations. Initially they used to squawk endlessly how early SSR sales somehow brought a different clientele into the "club". A definite lower class.

It was a hysterical time.

They would love me. I have owned at BWV and SSR. And I have only stayed at SSR probably three of four times (often short stays) in fifteen years. And have grabbed all the goodies elsewhere for the majority of my time at WDW.

But as I said earlier I had such a fantastic stay at SSR last week, and room, I will be back more often. And that doesn't even factor in the renovated rooms, as I was in standard.

I will greatly miss the table and chairs in the studios though. Everyone is different but I use them all the time.

Oh and a manager asked me if I had seen the renovated rooms online and what I thought. I told him the above but besides that everyone seems overjoyed with the final product and design.
