I read OP that these four adults were not talking and noting the film locations but "yelled (no exaggeration)" and "scream commentary" which is completely unnecessary on Soarin' and takes away from others immersive experience. It is a theater attraction.
I get the whole special needs thing, my DS is very involved with multiple issues and has at times had a panic attack. While I have experienced other guests being rude for no reason at all other than his looks, I have never had another guest be disrespectful when he's had a panic attack (he can be vocal). I've actually had them offer me assistance.
My opinion is that Soarin' is best observed with mostly quiet and oohs and aaahs. Not yelling, screaming or whooping it up. It is not a thrill ride and a favorite among the grandparent group. It would be fine to lean over and tell your children where something is, but I don't read that in OP's post.
BUT if you want a Soarin' CM opinion ............ DD worked there. Told me LOTS of stories. Once two teen girls were yelling and trying to make it a thrill ride .... DD was working in the tower which controls the entire ride. She was able to see the girls up close (everyone is on camera and yes she's see some bad stuff) and knew they were fine and yelling for no reason. She contemplated an E-Stop (which she would do if someone appears upset) because in her eyes they were ruining the ride for everyone else. But E-Stops take awhile to reset and slow the lines down. She let it conclude but not before a manager arrived. They pulled the family over to the side and told the the girls behavior was inappropriate and they ruined the ride for everyone around them. That screaming/yelling/being vocal was for the thrill rides and not theater attractions and please keep it in check.
