New Soaps and Shampoo products at WDW Resorts

So H20 will begin providing the WDW resorts with soaps, shampoos etc.

I'm so bummed. I've heard from a very good source that they will no longer feature Disney characters on them.

I feel that this is a very bad choice by Disney because I believe that Disney characters SHOULD be part of the artwork for their resort soaps and shampoos. However - more importantly - what 'fun' are they for the Mickey SOS Project for Sick Kids Hospital if they don't have the Disney characters on them?

I read about this in another thread and my first thought was for your Sick Kids Project.

Maybe enough people will complain about it and they'll make an adjustment in the future?? We can hope, right?!

I hope you are right Cammie. The only good thing is that these are absolutely PERFECT for older kids!

I'm hoping that old toiletries are still in circulation and that people donate enough to make at least one more trip to Sick Kids before the new ones are implemented everywhere.

I can't imagine Disney just 'throwing out' the old ones, so I'm hoping that they will use them up first.

K, silly question. Does anyone know what brand the OLD mickey soaps were. I loved the old soap!

That was one of the little things I was looking forward to! lol
I had planned to stow some away for the SOS project!
Well, I'll still be socking them away. Maybe I'll put some Mickey stickers on 'em!

they were still supplying the old stuff at SSR when I went in early Jan. but I got the H20 stuff at BCV about 4 days prior to that. So probably SSR still has a stash.

I really like H20 hand and body creams ... I wonder what the H2O shampoo is like. I liked the packaging of the old Mickey toiletries but the shampoo (I think it was a baby shampoo) never worked for me.

Thanks Scratch! I'm okay with smells as long as I can get my hair clean. I'll have to go down at lunch and check out the H2O store!

I couldn't get the orange shampoo to work for me and I never liked bringing my own with me (just one extra thing to remember to pack).

What about changing the themeing and coloring of your packaging? They still have Disney on them

Well, you do see old stock of plates and bags on Mouse Surplus on Ebay. If they have a you must switch over by this date kind of thing you might find the extra sold there.

These are the toiletries that were provided at Coronado Springs. Unfortunately, the mousekeeping was not very consistent at replenishing the supplies so I only got 4 days of toiletries instead of 7. Some of the toiletry sets are already spoken for, but if there are extras, I'll certainly send them on to you for the SOS project, Madonna31.

So you got the 'nicer' ones at CSR huh? Humm...guess they are giving out one type of toiletries for Deluxe and Mods and a different one to the values.

I love the pics of the ones at Pop! They combine the nice quality with the "Disney look". Hope they are there for our visit in April!
