So did you get anything good at the disney store?

Not a darn, freaking thing. It was MOBBED...I drove around for 20 min. to find a parking space..not a good space, just A space, then I had to wait to even get in...I'm thinking.."Oohhh...this must be a great sale." WRONG...the "deal" was take 20% off your entire purchase. But stuff that had been on sale online was now full price. And they always have an additional 40-50% off of the markdown price of clearance merch., but it wasn't like that this time. I was looking for PJ's for the kids and Christmas decorations, but all the Christmas stuff was full price.

We did get a great deal on a Digital camera at Target though, at a much more reasonable 9 am!!!!

All h-e-double hockey sticks broke out here....the little cub had an asthma attack so we spent Thanksgiving in the ER. Then on Friday we still hosted out 12 person dinner - that ended w/ the same cub tossing his cookies ALL over the kitchen floor. Let me tell you, there is no faster way to get rid of guests! It was so sad.....poor little guy...he's still a mess trying to fight a virus AND get over this asthma attack. I felt so bad for our guests too - not exactly appetizing. He's not really slept for the lasy 2 nights. Sooo.....we'll see how tonight goes....

Othwise, all is good - have missed seeing you guys.

We had a busy weekend...on Thanksgiving we went to my SIL's for dinner and then a friend's house for dessert, and then I went on the shopping trip from He**.
Friday, we finished putting up the trees, and started on the outside.
Yesterday, we went to my Aunt's for a 2nd Thabnksgiving, and got to see my Grandma. She is doing great, walking with the walker, but barely leans on it!
We couldn't sleep well in the hotel last night, so we are all just dragging around the house, but have a ton to do to get ready for the open house still. I have meetings all day Mon. and Tues, so it will be a long week!

Howdy PEEPs!

Hope everyone is doing/feeling better.

Been really busy around here with the holidays and all. For anyone that didn't know, my eldest niece died last week the day before her 34th birthday. Her dad, my bro, has been really really sick so we've been kind of taking care of dealing with people wanting to contact him. One of my sisters came to spend the weekend of Thanksgiving with us and she's home now-- she's apparently planning to come back New Year's weekend so I'm guessing she's had a good time.

I didn't get to go shopping and haven't actually even started Christmas shopping yet-- not really in the mood, but I will soon.

DS scored a perfect 300 in Wii bowling so he wants me to let all his PEEPs know. He will be getting his school ring on Sunday.

We had our regular unique thanksgiving, as usual. Went to my bro's the 15th for Thanksgiving cause they got to go to DW Thanksgiving week. Bleah! Did wave at ya, Bear, as we passed the McD's & hotel!! Sorry it wasn't the best for ya, but hope all is better now.

So Thanksgiving day I head out to Kmart, got some stuff, which I will take back some of cause I did get it on Friday when I went out. Wasn't sure I would, but I did!! Then went for Chinese with my parents, then down to thier house for pie. Yummy.

Shopped Friday morning, got most of it done. Did see the Disney on line had their PJ's for sale today, but I think I like what I got!

Did anyone see TinkerBell "talk" the other night? That was the cutest show and showed how she got her name. I hope to tape it, or record it... if I can figure out how.

Krista's program is Next Monday and she sings a "solo with 4 other girls"! So cute!!! And then Jeff has his hopefully the week after. Gotta go wet to Krista's, squeezing in classes on both sides of the show time, but need to be there for her. Bill kinda lost it with Jeff again last night, but all seems ok now. They just push each others buttons. Bill also lost Krista last night when he said she couldn't do Karate and needed to do "girly things" like gymnastics or tumbling. That went over like a lead rock!

I went shopping today and I got the kids pretty much done. I really only have a few things left to buy and that is done.. the kids have santa shop next week so they are excited.

Anthony has a job now he is score keeping for hockey. So he puts half his money in the bank and told me he is taking the other half and putting it away for christmas gifts. I was like thats cool.. He said yeah I'm gonna buy me that new hockey stick I want Wonder if i'll get a chance to use it..

Sorry the shoping didnt go better...bummer. I REALLY need to get going on the Xmas shopping - ack, one more thing to do. Well, the BIGGIE is done - we found a Wii this summer and have been saving it - cant wait!
Nice to hear Grandma is doing well. Neals all better too - amazing how kids can bounce back so fast, esp. after being so sick.

Yeah....I can imagine it could be tough to be in the mood for shopping and that's ok. Christmas will be nice with your family - gifts arent important.

I was worried I wouldnt be able to go to my little cubs - it is the day of a huge meeting I need to go to and being new on the job and all......but the boss told me to take the moring off (the meeting starts at 1pm - the show is at 9am...) -so I get to go!

I so agree, Bear! Time off to see her is so special! And 3 leafs, tell Ant that Jeff says to SAVE his money to use in the arcade at DW next time! (He so wishes to spend his there )

Krista is a bit bigger but not so much. She is still right around 4 feet tall. Jeff though is becoming a small giant, almost as tall as I. Chip will definitely get pictures & all and I have him forward to me or post for me here.

No kidding, the DUCKY who wanders around with a bare butt understands that one. You know it is cold when it can't even snow. I love living in this part of the world, love winter, but this year it is just making my feathers ruffle more than usual.

More of that saga of Em: she was terribly ill with strep/flu for a solid 2 weeks (temps of 101 - 103) Put her on antibiotic that just didn't cut it so put her on another one and 2 pills later she was OBVIOUSLY allergic to it -- rash and itchy all over (looked like lobster within 5 hours) Got an antihistamine for the rash & cream for her face. Back 2 days later to get a steroid to cut down on the swelling and Nystain for the THRUSH (poor kid eh?)

Hope everyone had a great turkey day & got shopping done on Black Friday (right that is what it is called?!?!?)

Went and put a down payment on Em's hospital treatment (huhm makes it sound like we are buying a car ) so that ball is rolling now

Oh, poor Em! The poor girl must be miserable! And that is so scary when they have the allergic reaction, my nephew almost died earlier this year from an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. to you, Jacqueline.

Oh Jacqueline...Poor Em! She just can't buy a break can she? I'm glad things are in the works for her private hospital care. Give her lots of hugs from me!

Hopefully something good will happen and things will look up so that you and John can still take your anniversary trip!
