Kat~ So sorry about your FIL.
I'm so sorry about your FIL. Hope DH is feeling ok....Sorry to have been missing. My FIL died last Thursday night, very unexpectedly in the hospital.
So off we went to Greensboro, NC to figure out all the legal stuff. No will, no real assets, no insurance as far as we can tell at this point. Lots of credit card debit, though.
Really sad as his daughter hadn't seen him in like 8 years and Bill hadn't in over a year or more. Bill was talking with his counselor about trying to talk with his daughter & going to see his dad in June. He now knows what he can lose. At least he and his sister are communicating and we stayed with them for the last few days.
I have a serious case of house envy. She lives in a tri-level, and I so want one of those!
Anyway we are safe back and the kids are very happy. I haven't seen them yet, so am eagerly waiting for work to be over! They stayed at my parents place and had fun. Chip also stayed there at night to help with homework though it was a gas hogging drive for him from his GF's house.!
'OH WEHERE, oh WHERE are you tonight?!!!" _ a very fitting song for a lonely bear! And also funny because my younger cubs teacher taught them all this song this week, so he's been singing it constantly!!! (In case you dont recognize it, its from Hee Haw!!!) Nothing funnier than hearing a bunch of 4-5 yr old singing this! MY cub thinks his teacher wrote it! (Shes about 22 - prob. doesnt even remember the show!
)
