New scrapbook store at WDW????

We are all so funny! It is kinda scary that our lives revolve around scrapbooking and Disney, but it could be worse! I'm just so glad to see so many excited about this possiblity!

I saw a store in the Animal Kingdom with stickers, but I didn't see the paper. The stickers were very cute- kind of pricey- but cute! My only complaint: they were only Animal Kingdom. There were many stickers, but they all had the Animal Kingdom theme. I didn't take that many pictures of AK! Oh well.

The only bad thing about finding this discussion board is how much time I spend on it! And there are still so many topics that I haven't even looked at yet!!!

Since Jan. my husband has had a yucky work situation going on, more than half of the company has been laid off. We are living exactly where we want to, with my sister's family and his dad and wife nearby. It is a small enough town that other people recognize my kids and look out for them-very helpful now that my oldest is 13!

If it's God's plan for us to move I know it will be ok, but this has been a hard time. Sometimes just reading about Disney or looking at the pics. of our last trip make me so happy!

This week my 8 yr old daughter and I are watching a different Disney movie every night. Tonight was Aristocats which I probably haven't seen since I was a child.

Hey everyone. I was at the RnR store in Downtown Disney today. It does look like they are moving things around and new fixtures have a scrapbook theme. Some of the polls look like they have rolls of stickers twisting around them. Lots of pens and albums. But there was on rack of stickers all makred a/f lf/f. And a packet with all the supplies for a scrapbook page. These items were all the same manufacturer. And I forgot what it said! Forgive me I was with a 4 and 6 year old(my little boys) that had just been dragged to the outlet mall to buy shoes! I had promised ice cream so I only had a few minutes! But it looks promising the stickers were cute. My favorites had bubble captions to place above pictures. One said "I am tall enough for that ride "or something like that, I know we all have pictures that would work with that one.

My husband is an 'Avid' Disney Pin Collector, and because of HIS addiction I became a consultant for 'Scrap in a Snap' (Fair is fair Ü ) Now while he is buying and trading pins at DD--I'll have a great place to shop! I hope they add new merchandise to what is already available--I'm tired of the same old stuff. Has anyone been able to confirm that it actually will be a scrapbooking store or just everything in one spot.

I was just there a week or so ago. There were a few new stickers. I asked a cm and she did confirm that they are expecting an expanded line of scrapbook supplies. I don't know if the entire store will be for scrapbooking. She did say that things have been coming in slower than they had planned, but they hope to have many more item in by the end of July.

Oh my....I guess I need to add another...ummm....$1000 to my budget for DISCon!!!!! ROFL...I have found some newer Disney stickers in stores but you are right...it's not alot at most stores. This would be so cool!!!!!!

(07-12-02 weekend)--I just came back from a Disney week-end. Sad to say no sb store at Disney yet. Talked to manager @ 2 Rs store & she said slow in coming (maybe Sept.) getting vendors is slow going. Also the stock may be kits. She too is also a SB'er & knows that there could be a lot of waste in kits, the things that you don't use. I informed her of all the interest in a Disney SB store here on this board. She's really trying, but in some ways her hands her tied!
