New scenes coming to Mission: Space and a new film for the China Pavilion

For some reason I don't find even the orange side of this ride thrilling in the least, and those tiny pods are one of the few things that make me really uncomfortable, but I will likely force myself to get over that to at least experience the new green side at least once.

I also don't usually enjoy the majority of the films in WS due to all the standing in one place, as it really hurts my feet, but again, I will likely get over it to see the new movie at least once.

After riding Orange, I said I would NEVER ride Mission Space again. I may have to try the new earth orbit mission on the "less-intense" green side.

I've never done orange only green. I might have to try both now.

YEAH, I like the feeling of not puking.

I totally let down my team last time I went on. They may have all died, I don't know, I can't remember. The horror... true horror.

My only mission that day was not to blow chunks into the little white bag. Luckily I had a small breakfast that day.

I took dramamaine and it still did not work out to well on Orange. I was the pilot and If it were a real mission, we would have all failed. I sat there and did not move an inch the whole time. I just kept looking forward not to disorient myself. Hahaha

I will want to see the restaurant tho!

I'm glad they've shown they're committed to the ride. I'll say this until I'm blue in the face, but it's a unique experience unto itself, particularly orange. It's a breath taking and incredible experience, but it's definitely not for everyone (I don't do it every time I'm there)

I'm happy they are doing two different missions for both versions of the ride. I know I want to try the orange one but I'm not sure if my husband will be able to handle it. So if I can go and do the Earth mission with him afterwards that would be great.

I'm one of the five people who actually like it, especially Orange.
Raises hand sheepishly, I like green, & I'm sad I won't have one last chance to be spat on by the dinosaur in Ellen, I'll show myself out...

I don't know if I find it THRILLING, but I definitely geek out on it and think it's cool. I'm such a space nerd.

I have really high hopes for the China movie. That is my favorite of all the films and I try to see it every time. It really does make me want to visit!

My experience on Mission:Space was so bad my wife (girlfriend at the time) and I had to do Ellen's Energy Adventure twice in a row just so we had a cool place to sit and recover. I swore I would never get on that barf machine again. So far I haven't.

I agree, it's not for everyone, but as you said, this is such a unique ride concept and experience. I was born with an inner-ear defect that resulted in positional vertigo and hearing loss, but for some reason this ride never bothered me. I love it so much, it's actually my favorite ride in any WDW park. I can still remember my (then) young son amazed that he couldn't lift his arms when the spinning started and he was just laughing. So I'm thrilled they that are investing in updating this ride and are committed to this pavilion as part of EPCOT's future.

My wife does not enjoy it though, so this is one I have to do on my own....can't wait to see the new upgrades!
