I was there last week. I saw the giant lotus floating out to the center of the viewing area. All of the seats appear to be in place, the scrims are down, and there are Mickey readers at the entrances. Not only that, but a number of cast members have been hired and trained to be ushers. Because the opening has been delayed, these cast members can be found standing around the park handing out guide maps. They're eager to chat!
One of the cast members told me she couldn't wait until the show finally opened, because she was none too happy to be, "answering questions I don't know the answers to," all day long.

She's only seen the lotus so far, but pointed out that they don't let her stay after hours.
There is quite a lot of construction equipment stashed on barges in the canals. And we saw workmen making their way through the park, both on foot and by boat (we waved!). We also overheard a group of castmembers being instructed in the guest-corralling process for the show, ie, "Here is where the guests will enter, so you'll be standing here and here..."
I think there will be a lot of bored, disappointed cast members (and very surprised imagineers) if the show doesn't launch this summer.
On an unrelated note, we also saw the hyenas, out on the safari just before park close!
