Just FYI, this may or may not be new info for some.
Over our NYE trip everything was the same but on our MLK trip we encountered different rules and fewer places to trade. We were told that Disney will be limiting trading to one location per park, gradually phasing the others out as well as the resorts.
D-Street now has new rules that were different from all of our previous trips. You may pick two numbers and then you must trade but they also have a clear box that they will then let you trade if you are unhappy. They seem far less strict than in the past but also the box was filled with all outlet traders.
We were told that supposedly they will begin to enforce the rule of no open box trading and that by limiting the locations the cast members will be better trained on what to take and not take for trades.
We found very little to trade for on this trip. When we received a duplicate and tried to trade it we were generally seeing the same vinyls over and over.
