Just checked into vwl today and they have new tap system for your room key . To enter room you tap the mickey Icon on your door with the card. Also used to charge at register ...very cool! Room was ready at noon! Let the fun begin...Connears

There is a thread showing all the info regarding the new RFID locks and updates as each resort has them installed.

The technology is very similar to microchipping in pets and is now being used for securing entrances.

I work in facilities management and we will be getting ready to switch over to the same system.
