New room only code good thru end of Sept!

I just called to compare the code rate to my AAA rate. The code rate will save me $31 TOTAL for our 4 nights at the GF in a LV. Since my ressie is through DU, I'll see if my agent can apply the code. She's away from her computer today. So, I say for $31, it's not a big deal. And if she DOES get the code when she comes back, that's an extra $31 back to me - but it's not $31 per NIGHT, just total.

I'm still hopeful for an AP rate to come out that's a bit deeper of a discount.
I called and got a very nice CM Colleen. When I applied the code BPN, my 2 nights @ ASMu came out $3 MORE than with AAA!!! I inquired about an AP rate and was told not yet, but to keep checking...

Here's to hoping and wishing!!!! :teeth:

Has anyone successfully booked this code for arrival dates before 08/27/06? I ask because the link detailing the code on the official Walt Disney World website lists the code as "BPO" and having it available from 08/27/06-08/31/06 as well as 09/03/06 - 09/30/06. However mousesavers.com lists the code as BPN and says it is valid from 08/19/06-09/30/06.

I ask this because I have 2 room only ressies during this time period. One at the Poly 08/25/06-08/27/06 and one at Coronado Springs 08/27/06-09/03/06.

So, any luck with applying this code to ressies before 08/27/06?

Thanks!

Anyone know if Labor Day weekend is blocked? We just need 9/01 & 9/02. Adding a couple of nights to an already long trip :) Thinking Pop or POFQ

I don't believe it is blocked - my trip is 8/31 - 9/10 which surrounds labor day weekend and I didn't have any problem applying the new code to my ressie this morning.

I just did my weekly call in looking for AP discount for my late sept trip and was advised of a new room only code "BPN" whicg got me $70 off rack rate for the beach club (soory forgot to ask what was being offered for moderates and value resorts)

hope this helps everyone!

:cool1: :) :cheer2:  :yay: :bounce:

Thanks so much for your post. I just called and applied the code to my September trip to POFQ and saved $131.00!

This will help pay for the October trip at Pop!

I just called and I got a Deluxe Savannnah room for $280 per night plus tax. I was already paying $285 a night for a regular savannah room, so I am pretty excited. I heard the rooms are larger, and higher up. I got it for Aug 20-28. I am jazzed.

I just checked and the free dining was about $200 less for our trip. DH,DS 2 and me for 7 days at the POFQ. The room only is a good deal for people that missed out on free dining or ones that dont want it. Now im going to have to go play and see what all the resorts are costing. :rotfl2:

I was also thinking that Disney must not have booked enough free dining rooms if they are offering room discounts now. What does everyone think???

I think this is just to try and draw more people during a slower period of time for WDW. September maybe the slowest month of the year for WDW. This may also be in response to high fuel prices. Maybe WDW is worried about high fuel prices slowing down tourism. Just a thought. :rolleyes1

This promotion is now available on the disneyworld website. This makes looking at availability a little easier than calling.

I absolutely LOVE this!!! It's so much easier to make a decision. I hope they continue it.

I totally agree. I do think that higher gas prices will have an effect on Disney in the 2nd half of this year. Oil has never been higher and for the last 6 months gas has just been going up and up.

I tried code BPN for Sept. 29/30 for Pop Century and was told no rooms available. They offered All -Stars as an alternate but I'll keep looking and maybe Fl. Resident Code will come up.

This code is great. I had WL for 8/25-9/2 with AAA for $204 per night. With this code I saved an additional $300!!!

I was very tempted to trade up and book the BC but dh pointed out we could use the money for more extras so that is what we will do.

Best of all, we told our dds that we are at PO so they will be very surprised. We stayed at WL in 2003 and they loved it. :cool1:

For those of you that are accessing the code and getting prices through the WDW website, how are you doding that?

All I get is the standard rack rate quotes when I put in dates.
There is no option for a promotional code nor is one advertised on the site. :badpc:

Go to www.disneyworld.com
then when the screen completely fills in, there will be some "offers" to the right - it says something about value resorts, blah blah blah (I think it's a white background with blue writing)

Click on it and it will take you to an area where you can enter your dates and number of guests. You will have to edit your search once your option comes up if you want a different hotel.

Hope this helps. It still sounds clear as mud.

peedeejones - I wasn't very clear when I was posting instructions and I couldn't access the website but once your on the disneyworld page, look to the right for MAGICAL VACATIONS packages and offers and under that column there is an arrow to the left of GREAT ROOM RATES, stay in the heart, ... Click on that and they you will be able to enter your dates.

I managed to get this code applied to both of my reservations.

August 25th - 27th at the Polynesian Gaden View Room
RACK = $814.00
w/ CODE = $658.00
Savings of $156.00

August 27th - September 3rd at Coronado Springs King Bed Room
RACK = $1210
w/ CODE = $898.00
Savings of $312.00

Total savings $468! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I was just able to get the code for our standard view rooms at WL, 8/28-9/2. We saved $217 off the AAA rate, which had already saved a lot! At first the CM told me the code was only for Value resorts, but I said I really didn't think so. He checked again and came back very shocked himself that there was a room available and it saved me so much money. So obviously not all the CMs are aware of this discount or know how to use it. Just keep asking questions or call back and get someone else if you need to.

This really is becoming a much more affordable vacation than we anticipated!
