New ride at WDW?

We recently visited WDW and noticed a large area of construction at Animal Kingdom off to the left aws we headed into Dino Land. Anyone know what that's all about?

I thinl it is going to be a new roller coaster named "Everest". Pretty sure that's what I've read here but I am sure someone will clarify or confirm.

In the Disney Magazine(issue:fall 2003) I have it says the new ride will open in 2006. The ride is called: "Expedition Everest, Legend of the forbidden Mountain. It will be in the Aisa section of Disneys Animal Kingdom.

If you have the fall 2003 issue of the Disney Magazine, there is a article and a picture about it.

Oh, great, reason to plan another trip besides this year and next. I've started just leaving part of my family at home since I'm the one that wants to keep going.

my dad heard that its supposed to be like matterhorn in disneyland. and in everest in AK, when u get to the top, u start to go backwards at 60mph or something like that. sounds like a great ride, that and dinosaur will be my 2 must do there.
