Check out Google Maps, you can even see where they would go on the AKL property.

I have it from a very good source, besides, you can see the spot on the map:edingerc said:I kind of doubt this. The reason is that the Savannah views are very specific. I'm not sure that they could built villas on the outside of their current staging area without you seeing through the artificial scenary. If you look at VWL, you can see that WL wasn't balanced without that part of the resort. AKL seems to be complete.
I think "need" is a bit strong...maybe desire or Disney, Inc's desired market push, but for the 80% of people who cannot or do not desire to come to WDW every year or every other year, another over-priced (at least to non-DVC members) DVC resort is not what is needed. Finish POP off (family suite-style as has been mentioned) and then another good, solid moderate resort (with interior hallways) would be better at this point in my opinion. I don't think most people mind a 40% - 50% mark-up for a comparable hotel room on-property versus one off-property, but $300/nt for a suite-style hotel room (ala' Residence Inn) on property compared to $125 off property is a no-brainer for most people...and not in Disney's favor.bicker said:It does seem that DVC is all they need to add at this time.
