New Resort Reservation Number?

Just checking to make sure this is happening to everyone...

I received an email a few moments ago stating that: "Due to the implementation of a new package reservation system, your Walt Disney Travel Company confirmation number has changed."

Just seems odd and potentially problematic for some.

I got the same email and I was totally confused when it popped up because I haven't made any changes or anything. I just checked my account to make sure all the details are the same and they are. I'm sure there will be some problems, there always are when they change systems.

I got it too -but mine still shows the old confirmation number in My Disney Experience though!

This is why the reservation system was down for the last couple days. Everyone will have a new reservation number.

Only packages I think. I have room-only and the same number and no notification of a change.
