We are coming from the east coast late April. This will be our first and probably only trip. We were disappointed with the closures for Star Wars land, but decided we could live with it. But these additional closures really have me bummed. I wish we had decided to go to DW instead as it seems like half the attractions are closed! Very disappointing. If I could change our plans and go elsewhere I would, but at this point we are stuck. You would think that with all the attractions closed as part of Star Wars land that they would have everything else operational.

I could not agree more. We are visiting from England, just for the Diamond Celebration. We were so disappointed with so many closures because of Star Wars Land, but had got over that. But all these other closures too. And to make it worse, we chose the Disneyland Hotel because of the monorail but now that will be closed for our May 2-7 trip. Not amused at all.

Not a bad idea! I will certainly try....and until then I will perfect my best sad, puppy dog face.

Looking at the calendar, it doesn't have Matterhorn down on April 23rd or 24th. So is it going to be closed a few days, open on those two days, then closed for a few more days?

Looks like they are doing a similar thing with the Matterhorn has they did with Soaring a month back. Closed on weekdays and open on weekends.

Why did I look at this thread? It's giving my anxiety! Swings is DD's favorite...it seems like a lot is closed during April!

There was a lot closed on our recent trip but we wouldn't have had time to do all those attractions anyway. We were super busy with other things.

I called yesterday and according to the lady on the phone the Matterhorn will be back open on Apr 30 with no closure during the following week. Fingers crossed!

We're in the same boat! I chose late April because I thought maybe the crowds might be a little lower, but I had no idea so much would be closed! I knew about the Star Wars Land stuff and I'm ok with that, but I'm really bummed about the Swings and the monorail. And now the Matterhorn is only going to be open the first day we are in the parks, so we will have to be sure to ride that the first day! I can't say for sure that I will never be back, I would like to see Disneyland at Christmas at some point, but it probably won't be for a few years.

We are leaving the afternoon of the 30th, but will be in the park that morning. Hopefully, we will be able to ride it before we leave.
