Matterhorn is not showing up closed on the Disney website, although Grizzly is :-( Great Moments with Mr Lincoln is closed, but the Monorail which I thought was going to be closed is back open by 18th April...

Oh, that's great news about the monorail! Our trip is May 7-14 so glad to see it'll be open by then! Will Jungle cruise or BTMRR be open by then, does anyone know? I sure wish the Railroad and Fantasmic would be open by then but know that's out of the question with them getting ready for Star wars land. But, definitely happy about the monorail at least!

I still show the Monorail being closed until the 19 May and the Matterhorn being closed between the 18th-22nd April. Maybe I'm not looking correctly. I'm looking at the attraction Map for the 20 April, the furthest out I can check.

( GRR is still closed during my dates. That closure looks pretty concrete. Why they don't refurb this ride Jan-Feb I don't know. )

When we were at Jungle Cruise on 2/20, they had a chalkboard out front that said it would reopen in 2 months & 15 days (I think it was 15). I asked the Skippers if that was a real time frame & they said it was unless the work finished early. So, although I wouldn't put any money on it, there is a chance it will reopen right before you get there. We were really bummed to hear it would be closed that long though. Jungle Cruise at DL is one of mine & my son's most favorite rides & we're going to miss it 2 trips in a row.

So, although I wouldn't put any money on it, there is a chance it will reopen right before you get there. We were really bummed to hear it would be closed that long though. Oh, that would be cool if it opened then! One of D25's fave ride in WDW so we really wanna try it in DL! I'm sorry you will be missing it, and a second time - that stinks!

Thank you so much for this thread. I have been looking everywhere to figure out when the Monorail would open back up. This is NOT the news I wanted, but I appreciate knowing at least! We will join the list of the East Coasters traveling a long way! We will be there on the 26th of April, so I hope the Matterhorn will be open. But I am so bummed about the Monorail!! How can they have the Monorail and Train down?!?

That's the odd thing. It's been closed for a month and opens next week in time for Spring Break. Then apparently closes again for another month.

If you look though it didn't go down until Splash was done, so I think they only do one water ride at a time.

While not an attraction, it also looks like the Pixar Play Parade may not be presented in April (while the F&W Festival is happening in DCA). The last date with a performance time is Monday, March 28.

Yes, there will be stuff for F&W on the parade route, so no parade for the month.

Disneyland has Jungle cruise closed til May 5th.
l think it was extended a bit because the date used to be in April.

We will be there for NH spring break which starts April 23!! Monorail is pretty neat (scenic) at Disneyland but you do need a ticket if I'm not mistaken to ride it.

I just booked our trip today, too! We are traveling from VT. April 22-28th! We have been to Orlando many times, but this is our first (and likely only for the foreseeable future) visit to Anaheim and we are very excited!!

I was so looking forward to seeing Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln on our trip last week. (Nerdy, I know...)
But it seemed that every time I tried to catch it, it was down.
The cast member in front said they were hoping it would open on Saturday, but we left on Saturday. Darn it!
But, anyway, the fun thing was, he said: "We are hoping for tomorrow, but you know he's been sick with that terrible cold and all..."
That line almost made up for the disappointment of not seeing it!

Anyone know what they are doing to Grizzly River Run? Seems odd it has been closed from mid Feb to mid March. Opens for a month and then closes again for a month....right when it gets warmer.

Most likely reopening for Spring Break season and then closing to finish before the Summer Season.

So disappointing. Hopefully the Matterhorn is only closed for a couple of days (like IJA and BTMR)
