New purchase..Guide said to wait!?

I called our guide as we just have just decided to purchase at BLT. She had no clue about it but say go ahead and watch it and if the incentives are better than what is out there now that we would get it.

I can not believe Disney would send something out like registering for a webcast and not inform it's employees? I have been out of the workforce (SAHM) for a few years now but there was always a memo or something that went around before a promotion--especially if it pertained to my department!

The guide I am working with at DtD here in Chicago was also caught off guard when I mentioned the webcase. Now, she did say that her boss knew about the webcast but had no idea what the incentives would be. Like others, she suggested I sign up, see what's there and take whichever incentive is greater, then get our ppwk drawn up afterward.

ARbug, here is the link so you may sign up - thanks go to dizfan for posting it :goodvibes

In the fine print I notice it said ' current price for 160 point Master contract is $17920 and certain limitations may apply ' - that would equal $112 per point.....It will be interesting to see what incentives this webcast will offer :surfweb: sounds like guides don't know for sure yet & ( no surprise there :rotfl:) Hopefully it will be worthwhile for us member's looking to do add-on too.

Best wishes :)

:thanks: for the link.

We spoke with a guide today who informed us to wait until the webcast the incentives would be better. I have signed up for the June 10th one so we will see.

For those keeping track, got a similar message from my guide who said it would be "to my advantage" to wait until after the upcoming webcast. ;)

Not sure why, since it seems like a few of you have just registered, but when I just attempted to register for one of the webcasts, I got a message that "registration is now closed".

I'm on the DVC "mailing list", always get messages in my inbox from DVC, yet didn't receive this one. :confused3

Looks like they have limited the number of participants.

My guide told me yesterday that it was closed. Glad I registered the first day! :) He said they got 2000 registrations in the first day.

He also said that it may be a few $ per point cheaper over the referral incentive that they are currently having.

Good luck to everyone. Here's hoping you guys get some awesome deals during the webcast. :cheer2:

Good luck and let us know what they had to offer. popcorn:: It's been interesting reading about the different ways DVC "communicates"?? .:happytv: :3dglasses :cheer2:: :confused3::surfweb::teacher:
