Please forgive me if this is posted on the wrong board. I obtained this info from Deb's web site............

IMPORTANT CHANGES to the Priority Seating Policy!! Beginning August 4, the booking window for most WDW dining locations will be 180 days out for guests with a paid deposit on a Walt Disney Travel Company package and 90 days out for all other guests. The only exceptions to this will be specialized dining locations such as dinner shows, Lunch With a Disney Artist, Bistro de Paris, and Victoria & Alberts. A valid WDW Travel Company package booking number (with paid deposit) will be required when calling for a Priority Seating for more than 90 days out.

Does this mean that in order to take advantage of the 180 day window, my ressies must be through WDTC and NOT any other travel agency?

Ugh. I always prefer to make my reservations through CRO and not through WDTC because I prefer the deposit/payment policies going through CRO directly. I know that WDTC operators usually answer the phones but in the past I've specified I want to go through CRO and not had a problem. Is this still possible? If it is I'll still make my ressies that way and wait on making my p.s. arrangements until 90 days out. I think it stinks but I'll do it. Next thing you know they won't allow guests staying off site make priority seating arrangements. Just my 2 cents and I LOVE Disney World and a lot of times I understand policy changes (like requiring a cc # for Cinderella's breakfast) but this policy change sounds just downright greedy to me. Trying to take business away from the smaller Disney travel agents.

OK, I'm totally confused now

I made my reservations using Disney Club, so is that CRO or WDTC??

What does this mean? For example, is CRT included in that 180 days? Will Aug. 4th be a nightmare for Dining reservationists because everyone that wants any PS's within 180 is going to call at 7:00 am Eastern time? For example, I am waiting until 60 days out for Crystal Palace and CRT... 8/17 is my day to start trying.... BUT now the day will be 8/4 along with half of America???

We need some info. before 8/4!!!!!

O.K. I found the thread about this on these boards over in the Dining section.

Thanks for posting here though because I usually don't check the Dining as frequently.
