New Promotions on the Horizon!!!

I haven't been to WDW since I was a child so when I first started planning and found this site and mousesavers, I got really excited, discocunts, Pins? hmmm. I planned our trip at full prices, DD's first time so we are going regardless full price or not. But then I started thinking hmm, if were getting a discount, let's start looking at one for next year too. So yes, I started planning my 2012 trip as well!! Then all this waiting and the games and nothing being release and honestly? I don't want to go through this again, I don't think I want to hold off on buying airfare until a "possible" GP rate comes out and I don't want to have to call everyday for a pin. It just seems so... unfair? I think I'll just book a nickelodeon cruise! So sad for disney I'm sure we will love it but I'm not into the games so instead of making me a yearly customer they are just turning me off and I'll look for other vacations and book disney once every four years or so

I am hoping to go the first week in December. This would be the first Christmas visit. We just back the end of June so I need some kind of gp offer make it happen. I've lost hope on any pins.

I just called to see if we had any pins associated with our name. We just got back from our 1st WDW trip last month -- and I'm already wanting to go back so bad (worse than my kids I think, haha!). Anyways, we're looking at going back in May 2012 but I thought it wouldn't hurt to call and ask now. It turns out, we did have a pin for 20% room only. She said it expires on Aug 25th and we'd have to travel by Dec 22nd. She also said that we could "add on the dining plan". Do some room pins not let you add the dining plan??

So, it's unfortunately not a pin that we can use -- but she was really nice and said to watch the website for any new specials coming out. So I'll definitely be on the look-out.

We're just waiting to see if Disney will offer anything good for May/June of next year. We have a budget in mind for offsite, but if they'd significantly discount rooms or offer free dining (we had it for the end of May this year but had to cancel) we'd stay on property.

Called Disney this afternoon asking if there were any PIN CODES associated with my name. The CM was very excited to see 2 new pin codes. One that runs from May 1-Nov. 18 for "Ticket Upgrade" which really means free Park hopper option. But that is not the exciting part. The second pin code is a mystery. The CM gave me the number, but say their is no description for the code except that is isn't even allowed to be booked until Aug. 13th. I kept pressing to see if she would speculate and she stated "Something Big".

So here is hoping for something for my trip in October (Free Dining??? or 30% - 40% off resort???) I can't wait.

Worse case scenerio...I will book the "ticket upgrade" code for free park hopper. At least that saves me a couple hundred!

Same number as making normal reservations. There is no special number for it.

I hope the 'mystery' PIN isnt that one that you had to book, pay in full, not know where you're staying and have no refunds again. That one really wasn't a good offer in my opiinion. I did get it and the other option was not a great deal.
