New prices for resorts on Disney website.

I am booked for Pop on May 2-9. The 2008 rate was $99 weeknight and $109 Friday and Saturday night. The new rate(2009) is $105 weeknight. I didn't see a rate for weekend but I would imagine it would be $115 a night. Mousesavers doesn't have 2009 room rates listed yet. I read these new rates on Disney's website.

I don't know if this has been moved to another board. I thought I posted on the resort board. I do hope to get a confirmation in the mail with the 2009 rate very soon. When we booked the lady gave me a peak rate($119) but we are staying at regular season rate May2-9.

I'm looking online right now at room-only rates, which were release today.

I'm getting a bit of sticker shock though...I'm looking for a Friday-Saturday stay in April (doing a split-stay to save some DVC points), and I'm getting $205/night at a moderate for the cheapest room, and $135/night at the POP - $50+ more than the 2008 base rate they were advertising ($149/$82). Cheapest room at the Poly (where we'd REALLY like to stay) is $505!

Are these expected? Now I hope there are some really good AP rates...

I think I figured out part of it...the two days are the end of the April Peak Season, whereas the next week falls back into Regular Season...I could flip things and switch for the last two days of our stay, but I'd rather not switch to a smaller room two days before going home...
