They mean the New Posts link in the menu. It's a search feature and I for one can't get any search to work in these boards, Its an ingrained feature in Vbulliten boards, but looks like the DIS admin are using the board tracker plug in and it just isn't working.

It would make navigating this site a lot easier if there was a working search functionality.

Because of the overwhelmingly huge size of this board, the search function no longer works, including the New Posts Function. There is actually a very interesting discussion about this from our Webmaster on a thread on our Technical Board: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1697159 . They are trying to find alternative solutions, but for now it is just something we live without.
