Now, that is an idea...I was going to give mine a bag of cheap trading pins, and send her into the park to trade for the good ones. I think they should start their careers early.

My kids were 14, 12 and 9 when we went to WDW and I don't consider them sheltered. We were at WDW during Gay Days. When we were at the airport leaving Orlando, I asked each of them individually how many gay people they noticed. Each one of them said "none." DH and I noticed plenty...the group of guys in the "I am what I am" t-shirts, the ladies on the bench with matching rainbow bandanas...but nothing overt or damaging.

As for rudeness, I often want people over on the DISabilities board who are in wheelchairs and planning their first WDW trip that there are rude people at WDW...I tell them that people WILL cut them off, bump into them, etc., but to not think it is just because they are in a wheelchair..the rude people are rude to everyone.
