New POP Fridge Swap Beginning Sept 11

We have a few dates in Oct, Nov, and the first week in Dec open.

Just got back from Pop on Sunday. We had an incredible time. The fridge really came in handy. Note to future swappers. I taped the coffee maker box and the toaster box to the top of the fridge box. My daughter stuck a big "Nemo" fish decal on the box to make it more identifiable for the people at luggage service. The box has a "false bottom" being held in place by 2 plastic straps. Do not discard the straps. Just remove the straps and lift the box upward. The fridge was easier to access this way.

Defrosting the fridge only took several hours. I just turned the unit off, left the door open and placed a towel underneath the freezer section to collect the melted frost.

The CMs at luggage service were very helpful. The line to store luggage was long and I went straight to the counter and asked if I could just drop off the fridge for the next guest. The CM gave me a claim ticket and took it right away.

The fridge is light but bulky so ask for a luggage cart.

Thanks Eric. I am glad things worked out. This is the first time and I hope everything continues to go smoothly.
For future swappers please be sure to bring antbacterial wipes to wipe down the inside of the fridge for the next swapper and packaging tape and remember not to lose the straps on the fridge.
Also if you are doing a swap in person you may not need to defrost the fridge. I just unplugged and handed over to boomrrEJ. Hiwever you will need to defrost the fridg eif you are leaving it with luggages services. I am sure the box could not withstand the water!
Hope everyone has a great time. My kids loved it. My 4 year old wakes up every morning saying ok lets go to Disney World Today!

I think you have to have at least 10 posts before you can PM someone.

I sent in my payment today with all my reservation info....Looks like we need someone to cover the two weeks in November which are open...

Would hate to lose out if POP will not hold on to the packages.

All is well in fridgeland. Still trying to catch up from our three week vacation.
Most swapppers can contact the person before them and after them to arrange the swap. If there is a break between swappers, I have the reservation info to put on the fridge when you leave it with luggage services.
I do have swapper user names and dates wriiten on the back of the fridge with a sharpie.
