New Poll -- When Did You First Purchase?

We've had similar polls before but it seems like new members are finding their way to this board. So, what year did you make your first DVC purchase? (Don't include the add-ons.)

I've included which DVC as home resort for 2003 only to see how many first time SSR owners we have.

Pam...we joined in 2001, thanks to the help of those on this board including yourself!

And I think Doc did this poll just last month. You might get more information by finding that poll (search is down now) and bringing it back...just a thought.

Pam....you do have some options listed that weren't on Doc's poll...specifically the items at the bottom of the poll.

If I recall directly, the big chunk of posters had bought in 2001-2003, and it fell off pretty dramatically before 1999. I'll try to find it if I'm on the boards during "off hours".

It has been over a week since anyone posted to it!

Pam's poll does ask a good question about those who have purchased SSR as their initial purchase.

We joined in August 2000. I didn't find the DIS until November. I wish I had known about it before we bought. Having access to this website with people who are always willing to help answer questions would have made the decision so much easier with less anxiety.

After several trips to WDW we stayed on site for the first time at Dixie Landings in 2000. We were hooked and bought at BWV durning that visit. We became addicted and added on twice at BWV and purched at BCV, too.
