I can understand your concern, as I have a nephew with the same allergy. However, from Disney's perspective, Peanut Butter is a near perfect food for them in this situation... It's cheap, almost universally loved (or at least eaten) by kids and can be hauled around without any special precautions and minimal mess. I can't think of too many other foods that would meet all of these criteria.Cindy's Mom said:Do you know if the kids have to be older than 4 to ride? Do they have peanut butter on that one too? My DS have life threatening peanut allergies and for the life of me - I can't understand why Disney serves Peanute butter on the Pirate Cruise at the GF.

That sounds a little scary to me-so many kids with just a couple of CM's and no parents in Epcot? Maybe that was misinformation-I don't know. Don't get me wrong, I would love for my DS 5 to do one of the Pirate Cruises when we go in Sept. The GF one sounds very safe and fine to me, but this one...I don't know. I guess i could just call Disney and find out the details....sometimes I forget that I don't have to get ALL my information from this site![]()
