New Pirate Night Show (Spoilers)

Hello,

When did the Pirate Night show change? Why did it change? We were on the Fantasy week of Nov 18, 2018.

The show used to be Jack Sparrow and he would set off the fireworks with a golden gauntlet.
Now the show features the new movie and scenes from the new movie. Also the fireworks seemed to be more in tune with the show instead of being at the end of the show. So we had to constantly turn to the front and aft to see the show then the fireworks, back and forth.

We don't like the new show as much as the old one (everybody had to sit, there were isles in the floor spaced out so that the actors could sword fight).

So I am posting it here to see if anybody knows when and why it changed.

It was different on the Dream in August too. I wasn't a fan.

Pirates is getting old. Well it’s been old for a long time now. Wish they will come up with something new bedsides pirates.

I wish all the ships did the Mickey pirate show when Mickey "flies" like on the Magic. I liked that show the best.

I saw two different shows:

-One on the Dream which was more "scary". With a pirate skull in the beginning and pirate characters among the crowd.

-One on the Wonder that turns into a dance party with all the characters, which I hated.

Hopefully the new show is scarier?

Just got off the Dream from my 12th cruise.... I actually enjoyed it maybe because the other ones were getting boring...we actually were on the Dream 4 weeks earlier and skipped the show on purpose because we thought it was the same one.... I was up on deck 12 and had a good view but I think people didn't mind sitting in the taped off areas because they could interact with some of the kids and it seem to allow everyone to see the show instead of jockeying for a spot.... to each there own but I for one was glad they've changed it
