New pirate makeover experience!

Thanks teruterubouzu, I looked those pictures. I'm so glad there is something for a boy. My son loves pretending to be pirate ever since the Pirate/Princess Party (wished they bring that back). I can't for our next trip for my son to try.

I was there yesterday to see the preview and the space is adorable! It is definitely well themed and perfect for any pirate lover (girl or boy). The cast members are in character and do a great job.

I did not see any of the dresses, only the makeup choices the boys and girls could choose from.

There is also a secret code activity that the children can participate in after their appointment.

Out of curiosity... will someone be posting an entry about the experience, or is it more informational for the moms so you can better answer questions?

Oh yes - the whole thing is an experience. The face paint itself is only about 20-30 minutes... but the whole process can be 45-60 min. It starts off at the wheel... where the new recruit get their pirate name and then it ends in the sacred sanctorum (with face painting in the middle).

Yes, you were awesome! We agreed you should have been with us the night before at California Grill...that was a great time!

I know I will be posting about it as well as a few other moms. One of the moms was from the moms panel will use the info to answer questions.

Yes you can! Just speak to the quartermaster when you check in for your voyage.

BTW Thanks, Pirate Brenna, for making me (for at least a few minutes) one of the "coolest mom's on the planet." When I was talking to my daughter about her upcoming Pirate's League appt I "casually" mentioned that "Oh, I know a pirate there, Pirate Brenna..." Her jaw dropped! Now she REALLY can't wait to see if I'm telling the truth!

I could be wrong, but I don't think there are any costumes for adults anywhere in Disney. I believe the most you'll find is a tshirt or a hat.
