Wednesday Shopping Events and Offers at Disney Springs

Wonder how many Members this will draw - Even if I were visiting during this time, not sure I would want to give up rope drop for shopping, though, especially since the discounts appear to be good the entire day..

Scheduled to run until the end of 2017.

Every Wednesday from May 3, 2017 through the end of 2017, Members can enjoy access to a featured store from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM—before the store opens to the general public. The store will have a special offer that Members can enjoy all day—during the Member shopping event AND throughout the event day during store operating hours.

If this requires the blue card I think that will knock a few out. Otherwise I would do it on our DS day if it lined up right. I would not schedule park days specifically to make it fit.

Eh. They did something like this at the Disney Store for Disney VISA cardholders when B&B opened. Same thing - store opened an hour early, the kids had a special "games" time with the CM and one of the kids got to officially open the store an hour later. We had to register and print tickets and arrive 15 minutes early (ie at 7:45am). It was about 10 degrees out and we FROZE waiting for the store to open. So not worth it.

Hmm. So will the buses from resorts to DS be running an hour earlier than usual on those days? Would need to be from all resorts to cover those of us who are out of points (again! ) and staying at a non-DVC resort. Although I'll also say that if I were at WDW on any of the Wednesdays that have been announced so far, I would not be interested in any of the offers.

This has got to be the least useful perk ever. You have to shop during prime park time, spend something you wouldn't otherwise spend, and you get a token improvement to it that you wouldn't have otherwise bought, or irrelevant 10-15% discount.

This is a dumb question but I've never purchased anything from DS other than Co-op Marketplace, World of Disney & a couple of restaurants.

I presume the Designer stores (as in Kate Spade, first listed) never offered the DVC 20% at all?
Certainly this new promotion wouldn't be 20% + 15%, right?

No transportation, they published the perk, added it to the sales presentation but they don't want you to take advantage of it.

I purchased several bracelets at Alex and Ani and got 20% off.
