New pavilion coming to Epcot and it's not a real country

I don't drink and I don't enjoy WS especially during the festivals. Not that anyone is doing anything wrong, they're not, it's just not my thing. Or maybe when everyone else is drinking and you're not it's just a drag. :rotfl2:

But then to put that Princess stuff right in there? What an odd juxtaposition for sure.

We've given up on Epcot since our last day there. When your kids can concisely verbalize that there is far too much walking for the number of rides there, it's time to give it a break ;)

I admit though, the Frozen ride will bring me back at least once if only out of curiosity.

The whole Arendelle/WS thing is just lazy and cheap IMO.
But EPCOT was never suppose to be about "rides", especially not WS. I have been to 7 of the countries represented in WS and even still I pick up something new in those places be it food I've never tried, a fact in one of the movies, or some of the theming details that either remind me of the places I've been or an explanation that I never knew in my youth while traveling. I do believe they could update the WS to include more interactive things especially for the kids (learn a new word in every country or something like that) but rides are not things I would consider missing.

Ha!!!

You most definitely win the Internet today, Sir. Well done....:thumbsup2

And I would buy that t-shirt in about 2 nanoseconds

Thanks, Steve! Still trying to figure out why my application for Disney Marketing Director keeps getting turned down :confused3

+1 (except have only been to four of the countries in person)

The fussing and clutching of pearls commentary during Food & Wine should be interesting if nothing else. You know, all of those awful drunks stumbling by the lines outside of Arendelle will once again cause complaints but likely even more of them.

I love this... Buy the way...

"Clutching of pearls" is metaphor in its most effective form. :)

They won't do it...

Learning won't sell cheap product...and real product Costs more per unit than what your can supply to Disney store/ walmart

Indeed...you seem to be qualified.

I keep applying for overhaul head of Food and Bev and/or Director of Strategic Planning for Wdw...

Response should be coming any minute...

Seriously? They couldn't market tee-shirts or something like that to kids with the words of the countries that they learned??? Mickey and Duffy (I HATE THAT BEAR) doing a "Hola!" "Bonjour!"??? They'd sell a ton of those. Heck, thinking about it now, I want a Donald Mexico shirt that has "What's the big idea?" in spanish.

They've got the Agent P thing in Epcot, why not expand/change it a bit and then sell like hell? I'm a public educator and I HATE what business has done to it BUT even I can think of ways to monetize learning/education.

No...seriously...

The product in the park has gone straight down the toilet faster than the food has for along time.

It's all about making it en masse and flooding as many giftshops as they can. Pennies on the dollar saved/profited.

Notice how many things say "Disney parks"?

Translation: we don't even want to print separate napkins for wdw and Disneyland...let alone sweatshirts.
...it confuses the Children in the sweatshops

Why don't you slip this little gem into your Cover Letter...

I think it's a great idea to put alcohol and the Frozen ride next to each other. Those who like Frozen get a ride, those who don't can get drunk enough that they won't care anymore.

Hey---- wait------ that could explain a lot.

Bring on the aquavit! ;)

Seriously, I personally couldn't get drunk enough. :furious:

True that.

All we now have to look forward to is that first "I'm So MAD...!!" thread when that drunk bachlorette spills a Blood Orange 'Rita all over Little Princess' custom made by her Mom gown.

You know it's coming......

Disney has a fix for this. It's called a Beer Pancho, and for only $39.99/ea, one can be yours! They're located right next to the traditional Rain Panchos, and can be had in a variety of colors to match your Princess's own gown. Buy 4 or more and get a complimentary "Shout" pen for those harder-to-remove red wine and bloody Mary stains... :)

Now that's exactly the thinking you'd expect from a DisDirMktg...!!!

I'm in your corner on this one. If you do get it, PM me. There's this 2012 XXL sweatshirt I bought that only my youngest can now wear after a couple of washings I need to talk to somebody about.....
