I have been reading information on annual passes, but I am still left unsure of the answers to my two questions.

I just purchased annual passes for my family who will be visiting Disney in June for 10 days and also next April for 7. Anyways, I selected the option for my exchange certificate to me mailed to me (I believe the arrival date by mail is next week)...at that time I will be able to link them to my Disney experience account and then make my fastpasses 30 days in advance?? I am pretty sure that is what I read. We are staying off site in June but should still be able to get magic bands due to being passholders. Can I order those in advance?? I am hoping I can! I keep finding info that says I can order them only once they are activated at one of the parks. Any insight is greatly appreciated!!

You can link exchange certs to MDE and make FP+ reservations.

As far as I know, you can't order Passholder MagicBands until the passes are activated.

Your annual passes aren't activated and the official year for them doesn't start until you go to Disney and activate them. Thus meaning until you activate them, you won't have the option to customize your AP magic bands until then. So you won't get your magic bands for your first trip.

Once your AP's are activated, you'll get a notification in MDE that your magic bands are ready for customization

You can purchase magic bands when you're there. Every shop sells magic bands. From the plain colors to limited edition ones. You can buy one at a shop and have the CM link it or you can link it yourself. Their super easy to link
